That's Right- You Heard it Here FIRST folks!

Red Mango's newest Chicagoland location will be opening in Glenview. On Milwaukee, one block south of Euclid/Lake Street. It is a strange location with little to no foot traffic, and in an unincorporated area of town, but no doubt they will get many drive bys. Don't be fooled by other "Chicago" froyo bloggers. We have the first and best info about tart froyo! Ohio's location in Columbus is open and running, demonstrating Red Mango's agressive efforts to be the first big froyo chain in the midwest. Of course, the local single store options around still rock- but come on Pinkberry, jump on the bandwagon. Also, self-serve locales are NOT catching on as quickly. If anyone has any news and reviews about new stores opening up around the midwest, or info/ideas, please let me know! xoxoxo

I think Columbus, Ohio (Dublin) will be getting a Menchies. Not sure when though. But it is listed on the website with an address.

FYI--Columbus, Ohio will be getting a location of Yagoot (out of Cincinnati, affiliated with Busken Bakery) at Easton Town Center. To open March 2010

The Glen would be an outstanding location. There's a lot of foot traffic, restaurants, and a multiplex movie theater.

Are you sure of the Milwaukee location? That's not really near anything.

Yes, I do agree that the Glen would be an outstanding location, however I AM sure of what I saw with my own eyes. I wouldn't have posted it on here if I didn't see it! :)

Great info on a new Red Mango in Glenview!

But, as a fellow Chicago froyo enthusiast, I'm curious - why would we be fooled by other "Chicago" froyo bloggers? Is someone spreading incorrect froyo info?

Thanks for your comment Aimee and thanks for reading the blog! :)

There WAS an imitator out there, but her blog is now defunct.
Hopefully now that summer is coming more places will start opening up!

There are rumblings that a Red Mango is to open in Carmel, In Arts and Design District on Main Street. Great spot for foot traffic as well as people coming on and off the Monon Trail!!

I have heard from multiple sources that a self serve Red Mango is opening in Carmel, Indiana in the arts and design district summer 2010. Carmel is a wealthy northern edge city of Indianapolis.

Hi - I came across your post through google. I saw the Red Mango shop in Glenview last weekend and tried to stop in. They share the space with a Korean bakery...the bakery was open but Red Mango was not. The bakery staff said Red Mango is open Friday, as in tomorrow! I hope that is true.
